We are pleased to announce the recent delivery of AAL Newcastle to the Austral Asia Line fleet. With deadweight of 31,000 mt and lifting capacity of 700 mt combined, AAL Newcastle will enter our established East Coast Australia liner trade and help to strengthen our position in the region.
This delivery also marks a conclusion to the newbuilding program which saw AAL take delivery of 14 vessels in total with the first vessel being delivered in 2010. The total includes 10 A Class (31,000 deadweight) and 4 S Class (19,000 deadweight) heavy lift vessels. All the vessels have been built to the highest standard and are capable of carrying an extensive range of cargoes.
The addition of AAL Newcastle and time chartered vessels to the company’s fleet means that Austral Asia Line now proudly ranks amongst the top ten MPP owners by fleet size.
Austral Asia Line is looking forward to enhancing service offerings and quality to our customers.
Sincerely,
AUSTRAL ASIA LINE
